DOG BEHAVIOURAL
After studying the psychology of dogs and partaking in a dog behavioural course I am excited to be able to work with dogs and their owners that may be experiencing problems and or are in need of support. Many of the dogs that i walk are walked 1:1
due to their needs and i believe that all dogs, given a routine and a purpose will thrive.

I apply all of this experience into walks to assist those that may need a more specialist approach that group walks dont support.
Is your dog person or dog reactive!? I can help and support you and your dog...
Group walks help with socialisation but can also hinder some to self regulate and calm and learn the hierarchy that is needed within a family/pack environment. If a dog is the lead within his "pack" then that will quickly be his normal, leading to reactivity and or behaviours that can lead to the dominant behaviours that can be unwanted within a home or social situation.
When I walk a dog 1:1 they are given the time and space to explore thier surroundings and world. Sniffing helps stabilise thier breathing and in turn will enable them to focus on the world around them and feel calm and happy because of this.
I allow all the dogs I walk to take it at thier own pace and enjoy thier walks and don't rush them through what is the most (or nearly most) important time of their day.
I will also implement techniques and strategies that the owners are using to enable consistency and routine which I feel are vital for a dogs development.
Is your dog hyperactive and unable to self regulate!? How I can help...
I specialise in the more hyperactive of dogs that need retraining of how to self regulate and refocus.
I will help and support with calming exercises and help/aid/support with methods that will bring back a holistic and balanced space for u and ur dog/s.
Calming practices and methods can be introduced into thier daily routines to enable refocus and self regulation for those more highly strung dogs such as spaniels etc. Which in turn allows for a calmer and more regulated dog.
A dog with a purpose or routine is happier than a dog without you only have to look at working dogs to see this.
Always think...what else does your dog have!? What will replace the behaviour that you are trying to erase?
Without another purpose, your dog will always fall back to what he knows best.
